Group supervision program

Ongoing PEER support for psychiatrists, Authorised Prescribers and therapists working in psychedelic-assisted therapy

Program Overview

The Group Supervision Program gives clinicians delivering MDMA- and psilocybin-assisted therapy structured, ongoing supervision and a national peer network. Members attend weekly supervision groups led by experienced practitioners and can get practice and admin support between sessions, so that psychedelic prescribing and therapy stay ethical, safe and evidence-based.

Aims of the Program

✔️ To support Authorised Prescribers and their teams in the safe rollout of psychedelic-assisted therapy, consistent with TGA, HREC and RANZCP guidelines on prescribing psychedelic medicines.

✔️ To foster reflective, trauma-informed clinical practice

✔️ To build capacity through consistent and structured supervision, shared learning, and accountability

✔️ To encourage consistency in care quality across Authorised Prescribers in Australia

Who Is It For?

The program is for psychiatrists with TGA Authorised Prescriber status for MDMA or psilocybin, or those applying for it. It is also for psychologists, therapists and other clinicians working in PAT teams, and for any clinician who wants regular, structured support as their psychedelic practice develops.

Why Learn in a group?

More cases than your own. Hearing how colleagues handle hard sessions widens your range beyond one caseload.

Blind spots surface sooner. Others notice what you're too close to see, including countertransference.

Judgement, not just protocol. Thinking cases through with prescribers and therapists builds sound judgement.

Support for demanding work. A regular place to bring the weight of this work, with people who get it.

Our lead supervisors are experienced Psychiatrists and Clinical Psychologists with experience in providing psilocybin assisted therapy for depression and/or MDMA assisted therapy for PTSD
