Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Intensive

PAT Therapist Training The Psychedelic Consultancy | Newcastle, 21–24 August 2026

Designed for clinicians preparing to work within Australia's Authorised Prescriber (AP) scheme, this four-day training develops the core competencies required for safe and effective MDMA and psilocybin-assisted therapy, with a strong focus on translating knowledge into clinical application.

The program combines experiential breathwork, applied role plays, and case-based learning with practical guidance on integrating PAT into existing practice. This includes working within multidisciplinary teams, navigating clinic governance, managing challenging experiences, responding to adverse events, and working with emergent trauma material during and after dosing.

Suitable for psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and peer workers intending to work directly with patients.
